
Our Advisory Committee

ANN IWANCHUK
Born and raised in Saskatoon, Ann was first elected to represent Ward 3 on Saskatoon’s City Council on October 19, 2011, and was re-elected in 2012 and 2016. Ward 3 represents the extreme west end of Saskatoon including Fairhaven, Parkridge, Blairmore, Pacific Heights, Kensington, and Confederation Park.
Ann is the Chair of the Standing Policy Committee on Finance, and a member of the Standing Policy Committee on Transportation.
Ann is on the Board of Directors of TCU Place and Saskatoon Tourism. She also sits on the Naming Advisory Committee and the Saskatoon Airport Authority Community Consultative Committee and Customer Service Working Group.
Ann's past committee experience includes Chairing the Standing Policy Committee on Environment, Corporate Services and Utilities as well as several years as a member of the Board of Directors of SREDA, and committee member of the Traffic Safety Committee and the Cultural Diversity Race Relations Committee.
In addition to being an elected representative, Ann is also a negotiator, mediator, arbitration specialist, and facilitator with the Canadian Union of Public Employees. Her past experience includes 15 years as a Saskatoon City Hall employee; work with the Saskatoon Police Service; as well as experience with her family’s locally owned and operated downtown businesses.
Ann is a past volunteer with a number of organizations that support at-risk youth and was a member of the Father Vachon parent council while her daughter Jaclyn attended school there.
Ann and her husband Andy have a blended family of three daughters, their partners, and children.
